Get in TouchMy Journey to Biohacking
Like many of us, my journey didn’t begin in a laboratory. It began with burnout. For several years, I struggled with a cascade of health issues: chronic inflammation, poor skin health, muscle weakness, and a disrupted circadian rhythm that left me exhausted yet unable to sleep. It was a cycle of brain fog and declining productivity that felt impossible to break.
The turning point wasn’t a magic pill. It was data. I stopped guessing and started studying the mechanisms of metabolic support — specifically red light therapy and circadian biology. By treating my health like a system, I focused on supporting my body’s natural rhythms to establish a stronger daily baseline.
Today, I feel productive and live with a renewed sense of clarity. But I want to be clear: Biohacking is not a magic wand. It is a disciplined approach to biology. The protocols and devices I discuss on this site are the exact tools I used to support my own journey, and my goal is to help you navigate this space without the hype.
My Editorial Philosophy
Trust is everything in the health space. Here is my promise to you:
- Science-First: I am not a doctor, and this is not medical advice. I am a researcher. Every claim on this site is backed by peer-reviewed studies (which are always linked).
- Unbiased Reviews: I personally test the devices I write about. If a product has high flicker or low irradiance, I will tell you.
- Transparency: My goal is to help you make informed decisions about your health tech.
My Current Stack
Here are the tools I rely on daily for optimization:
- Light Therapy: MitoPRO+ (Used for 10 mins every morning).
- Sleep Tracking: Oura Ring Gen 3.
- Environment: Blue-light blocking glasses (after 8 PM).
This is not a recommendation, just what currently works for me.
Scope of Competence & Limitations
To maintain full transparency regarding the content on BioHackingLab:
- What I Do: I analyze peer-reviewed literature, test consumer health technology for technical accuracy (flicker rate, EMF, irradiance), and share documented self-quantification experiments.
- What I Do Not Do: I do not provide medical diagnoses, treatment plans, or personalized healthcare advice. My data represents n=1 case studies and should be viewed as informational research, not clinical guidance.
